Hi, I’m Lora Flora!
I’m an environmental educator and artist, with a passion for connecting people through nature and art. My love for both began in childhood, with drawing as my way to form friendships and an endless curiosity for the natural world. This passion led me to study a Bachelor of Science in Botany and Conservation Biology at the University of Western Australia.
For many years, I focused on my career in science, but I felt something was missing without art. In 2018, after posting a YouTube video of myself body marbling, I was invited to a prestigious street art festival in Dubai. This experience opened my eyes to the possibility of making art my full-time career. Later that year, I competed in the World Body Painting Festival in Austria, placing fifth in the installation category.

In 2019, I founded Eco Action, a successful environmental education program bringing nature into classrooms across Perth and rural Western Australia. My home became filled with critters like frogs, cockroaches, and stick insects—tiny ambassadors for nature. As my art career grew, I made the tough decision to sell Eco Action to focus fully on my art.
My murals and body art celebrate nature, often featuring local flora, fauna, and native bees. I’m deeply inspired by the environment and use my work as a call to action, encouraging viewers to reflect on their role in protecting nature.

What excites me most about public art is its power to unite communities and spark conversations. I love how murals and live art create shared experiences that transcend gallery walls, offering art that is accessible to all.
My murals can be found in Perth, across Australia, and overseas in the UK. I’ve performed live body art for events like Fringe and TedX.
Through my work, I hope to create shared experiences that inspire a sense of connection with the natural world
